Re: Baker and Bucs benefit of falcons penalties skewing the game outcomes (adjusted and actual), I think Baker’s stats in your calculation are actually deceivingly high. At least 2 sacks wiped off by penalties. Do your # account for that?
I don't account for that in the EPA numbers for quarterbacks here, but net penalty advantage is partially removed in the adjusted scores, and for my adjusted quarterback efficiency stuff, I discount EPA gained via DPI.
And as a falcons backer in the game, the penalty volume and cluster within the secondary and O-line was absolutely maddening. Not seen anything like that in awhile. They said most since 2019 on the broadcast
